**Dash is currently in training for his anxiety and a few of his more prominent quirks. Due to this, Dash is currently not available for adoption, however if you are interested in Dash you are more than welcome to contact the WCHS staff with questions. Whoever is interested in Dash will have to meet with him several times and go over how the staff and trainers have been working with him. The staff want to set Dash up for success!** **Dash needs a home WITHOUT other dogs, children, or cats. He would do best in a home with someone who is familiar with dog positive reinforcement training and who will respect that Dash has things he is and is not comfortable with and he needs those boundaries to be respected. ** Dash is a unique fellow who is looking for a forever home! He is a handsome, 7 year old, neutered male who appears to be a medium sized German Shepherd mix. He is definitely a mix of several breeds! This classy fellow came to the shelter as a surrender due to changes in the home and he has since shown the staff that he is a very smart and inquisitive fellow. Dash loves his raw hides and he loves to be pet by those he knows and trusts. Dash would like to find a home with a large fenced in yard where he can explore and a large couch or rug he can lay down on inside to stay warm with his people. He is looking for a forever owner who will give him all the pets and attention he needs while understanding that he has boundaries that need to be respected . **Dash definitely feels more comfortable with WOMEN, if there are any men in his potential new home they will need to come meet him a couple times and still take it VERY SLOW if he goes to that new home with them. When Dash tells a man he is done with being pet, he means "I am really done, do NOT touch me unless I come and let you."
